About Us

Welcome to BearMoose Goldens. We are Kristen and Peter McClure and are a small family breeder located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We have yet to be able to find a breed that is a more perfect 4 legged companion to have by your side. We feel blessed to be able to share our lives with these beautiful and amazing dogs and are excited to be able to share them with you. Our Goldens are first and foremost our pet; they live in our home with us, sleep in our beds and are involved in our everyday activities and adventures. They are a huge part of our family!

Our Goal

Here at BearMoose Goldens our main objective is to produce quality puppies that are structurally sound, healthy and intelligent family companions focusing on temperament and health. All of our Golden Retrievers are health tested,

we take the health of our Golden Retrievers very seriously. We know how important it is that our breeding dogs’ health is as good as it can be to ensure the puppies’ health is similarly sound. That's why we conduct tests on hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. We also do genetic panels to check for heritable diseases.
